Did you know that in the Middle Ages St George’s Day was bigger than Christmas for the English? The time is coming up again to celebrate the day of that illustrious dragon slayer, St George, the patron saint of England.
BritSoc is putting on a party on the 21st of April 2006 at “Tig Barra”, Overtoom 31, not far from the Leidesplein. From 9pm until 1am there will be drinks, snacks, and some great English Rock & Roll from the last 40 years (of which there is sooo much!) for you to dance to. It’s guaranteed to be an event when you can let your hair down….........!
Very Casual dress, you run the risk of being refused admittance if you turn up in a collar and tie!
