Management & Policy on Television
The Department of Management & Policy is delighted to announce that in its
continuous efforts to make politics more transparent and opener, the Department of
Management & Policy has made an important leap.
In collaboration with the VPRO and production company S&V Fiction, minister Karel
Bijl and his senior civil servants (namely Permanent Secretary Helen van Zuilen,
Private Secretary Maarten Hulst and Assistant Private Secretary Mohammed) can be
followed on television for the next elevens weeks as they go about their business at
the Department of Management & Policy, under the guidance of the Media
Management Squad of the Department of Management & Policy, Peter de Baan and
Edwin de Vries. Under the title Sorry Minister, each week the viewer is given a candid
insight behind the scenes of Dutch politics. The first episode can be seen on Monday
night, September 7th, at 10PM on Nederland 3.
